Product Overview

The PACIFIC SCIENTIFIC 6410‑024‑N‑N‑N is a high‑performance bipolar chopper‑mode stepper drive within the 6410 motion control series. It accepts industry‑standard STEP and DIRECTION control signals and delivers precision‑regulated current to two‑phase hybrid stepper motors. Built‑in digital electronic damping suppresses mid‑band resonance, reducing motor stalling and torque loss in open‑loop positioning systems. This unit is widely used for retrofitting and maintaining legacy automation equipment, with robust short‑circuit, over‑voltage and under‑voltage fault protection functions.

Series

6410 Series stepper drives from Pacific Scientific (now part of Kollmorgen). The series features multiple model variants with different current ratings, hardware configuration options for heat sink, connector kit and cover. The 6410‑024‑N‑N‑N variant has no built‑in heat sink, no connector kit and no cover assembly.
