The CON021/916-200 performs two critical functions:

  • Supplies high-frequency excitation power to the eddy current probe, enabling it to generate the measurement field

  • Receives and demodulates the impedance change signal returned from the probe (which is proportional to the gap distance), linearly amplifies it, and converts it into a stable, interference-resistant standard voltage signal
