GE IC690RFH008 is a passive wiring hub designed for the GE Genius industrial fieldbus. Traditional Genius bus adopts daisy-chain topology; this hub converts network layout into star topology, allowing multiple remote I/O branches to connect from a central control cabinet. It simplifies field wiring layout and facilitates troubleshooting of individual bus branches. The unit is widely used as replacement spare hardware for legacy power, water and process automation systems equipped with Genius distributed I/O.
