Description

GE HE700GEN200 is a VME form-factor communication module designed to connect VME-based controllers to the GE Genius industrial fieldbus network. It acts as a Genius bus master, supporting two separate Genius bus segments to expand distributed I/O capacity. The module enables cyclic process data transmission and fault diagnostics between the VME host system and remote Genius I/O blocks. It is widely deployed as replacement spare hardware for legacy power, oil & gas and process control systems.

Series

The uGENI series includes HE700GEN100 (single-channel) and HE700GEN200 (dual-channel) Genius VME interface modules, developed by Horner APG for GE Fanuc automation platforms. These modules integrate into standard VME racks to implement Genius bus networking without dedicated Genius Bus Controller (GBC) hardware.
