Description

FOXBORO FBM216B P0927AJ is a HART analog input fieldbus module designed for the I/A Series DCS platform. This module features 8 mutually galvanically isolated input channels compatible with standard 4–20mA transmitters and HART smart instruments. Two FBM216B modules can be configured as a redundant pair in master/tracker mode for uninterrupted signal acquisition on critical control loops. Each channel integrates an independent HART modem to enable bidirectional digital communication for retrieving transmitter diagnostics, range parameters and device identification data. It is widely used as replacement spare parts for Foxboro DCS systems in process plants.

The I/A Series distributed control system was originally developed by Invensys Foxboro and now belongs to Schneider Electric. The FBM family consists of fieldbus I/O modules including analog, digital, HART and fieldbus interface variants, compatible with FCP270, FCP280 and other controllers.
