Unlike older systems where you needed different modules for vibration and thrust, the A6500-UM can be changed from a vibration monitor to a position monitor simply by changing the software configuration. This makes it a versatile “one-size-fits-all” solution for the rack.

Q: Can the A6500-UM replace an older A6110 module?

The A6500 series is the successor to the A6300/A6110 series. While they perform similar functions, they require different racks. If you are upgrading from A6110, you will likely need to upgrade the entire rack to the AMS 6500 platform.
