Function

T8471C receives safety‑logic commands from Trusted TMR controller over system backplane. Three internal redundant circuits execute voting logic and drive field‑side 120 VDC discrete outputs to control solenoid valves, trip relays and emergency‑shutdown actuators. Built‑in per‑channel diagnostics detect open‑circuit, short‑circuit and wiring faults, and report fault status back to the Trusted host system. Hot‑swap capability allows technicians to replace defective module without shutting down the safety‑related control system.
