Yokogawa PW482-50 S2 is a dedicated power supply module developed for the CENTUM CS3000 and CENTUM VP distributed control systems. It converts alternating current mains into isolated, stabilized 24VDC power for FCS racks, supplying control processors, analog/digital I/O boards and internal bus circuits. Two PW482-50 modules can be installed in parallel for redundant configuration. When one unit fails, the other takes over full load with bumpless switchover to guarantee uninterrupted process control. This revision S2 version improves thermal performance and safety compliance compared with earlier revisions. It is widely used as replacement spare hardware for petrochemical, power and oil & gas plant DCS maintenance.
