The TRICONEX 3723X is a high-density analog input module designed exclusively for the Tricon CX safety instrumented system platform under Schneider Electric Triconex brand. Built upon proven Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) technology, it serves as the core front-end signal acquisition unit for safety-critical industrial processes.The module collects continuous analog signals from field transmitters, converts analog measurements into digital data, and transmits validated data to the Tricon CX main controller. It supports safety monitoring of pressure, temperature, flow and liquid level, and is widely deployed in SIS systems requiring SIL 3 certification. Compatible with matched termination board TBE-D5016-TRI-011, it supports conventional and intrinsically safe field signal wiring for hazardous area applications.

Sourcing & Commissioning Guidelines

1. Full part number 3723X must be confirmed before procurement. It belongs to Tricon CX series and cannot be directly interchanged with classic Tricon Mark VI I/O modules such as 3700 series.
2. Take ESD protection measures when handling the module to avoid electrostatic damage to internal circuits.
3. Match the corresponding termination board TBE-D5016-TRI-011 and system connection cables.
4. For intrinsically safe applications, install approved IS isolators on the terminal board according to hazardous area classification.
5. After installation, complete channel configuration, simulate signal range, verify open-circuit diagnostic function and data communication with the controller.
6. Confirm controller firmware version compatibility to ensure all diagnostic and safety functions are fully enabled.
